Salary Survey 2022

Melanie Stone reports on the results of the AUGI Annual Survey, Mark Kiker covers how to ask for more staff, and KaDe King provides advice on how negotiate pay raises or starting salaries. Remote workers have quadrupled since 2019. The ability to telecommute increased to 55% (far above the 15% who had this benefit a decade ago). The majority of market specialties reported staffing issues. 86% of Designers felt Secure in their jobs, and 83% of them received a raise. Occupational outlook shows a large shortfall of Mechanical Engineers is coming.

Salary Survey 2021

Urban workers continue to decline and remote workers go up. And, for the first time ever, Architecture is not the most-represented industry in our report! Civil Engineering has taken first place. They're also the industry that did the most hiring last year. 44% of our industry received a raise this year.
