Surveys Article: Email Subscription

Thank you to the hundreds of people who participated in this month’s poll! In some of my feedback from members with an interest in the AUGI Salary Survey in 2015, who had somehow missed it, I began to wonder how folks are receiving their AUGI news.

When you get the monthly HotNews newsletter or receive the announcement about the availability of AUGIWORLD Magazine, or special bulletins like the Salary Survey announcements and content… just where are you reading them? Are they lost in the shuffle of your work inbox? Or being sent to a personal, subscriptions only, account?

It turns out, that the majority of people say they are signing up with AUGI, and other professional sites, with their office email address (62%). Over a third say they sign up from a personal email address (36%). The remainder, have signed up through an educational email address (2%).

Just as a reminder, if you do not open your emails from AUGI on a regular basis, your service provider could incorrectly mark us as spam. If you need to change the email address where you receive AUGI content, you may do so through the My Account link at the top of the site.

Please come back and take our current survey this month! As the Salary Survey is running right now (through August 6th, 2016), and one of the hottest questions is on whether or not your fellows have received an increase in pay this year, I thought it only prudent to inquire how long it has been since your last performance review. Please, chime in on the current poll and share your input!
