Poll: Most frequently used command

Thank you to everyone who chimed in on last month's poll on your most used command/tool in your primary Autodesk software.

Here are the products that won top usage with our members:

AutoCAD - It was a pretty tight race to the top; Copy, Line & Purge were the most frequently used commands reported.

Revit - Among the Revit family of products, Undo was reported more than Wall, but, not by much.

Plant 3D - BATTMAN was the only choice.

Mechanical - Line.

Inventor - Dimension.

Civil 3D - QSave beat out align as the top command.

AutoCAD Architecture - Copy beat out PEdit and Undo.

For you AutoCAD family users, have you seen this printable shortcut guide to the most popular 250 commands?

If you want more information on which commands are being used most in AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor and 3ds Max, just click here: Command Usage Arc - Autodesk Research (see the links at the bottom to individual pdfs of each product's usage infographic.

Are there some top commands which you aren't familiar with yet? Ask other users in www.forums.augi.com how they use them for insight on how to leverage the power of unknown tools in your software.

Next month's poll is on side-gigs.

It’s widely believed that workers are now diversifying their income streams by taking on side work, in addition to their primary employment.

Are you? What is it? Teaching, writing, playing in a band, building, cooking, racing, programming, or freelancing in your current field? Whatever it is you do on the side, share it with your fellow AUGI members! (results in next month's edition of HotNews).
