Dear AUGI member,
You probably already know that AU 2013 is a great place to learn about the Autodesk software you and your company use every day (and if you don't, you're about to find out!). But you know what else is just as awesome? Being an Autodesk User Group International member! There is a lot going on at AU2013 for AUGI members. Here are some of the highlights.

What is AUGI doing at AU2013? Here's the rundown...
Tuesday, December 3, 2013:
Volunteer Breakfast. The AUGI Board of Directors will be holding a special invitation-only breakfast for AUGI volunteers who keep the organization running year-round and during AU itself. If you are an active AUGI volunteer and have not heard of this special event, please contact AUGI President David Harrington (david.harrington@augi.com).
Local User Group Luncheon. Do you represent a Local User Group (LUG) somewhere in the world? If so, Autodesk and AUGI would like to meet with you and have you share your LUG experience and insight during the AUGI Local User Group Luncheon on Tuesday. Seating is limited for this invitation-only event. If you are interested, please contact AUGI LUG Director Shaun Bryant (shaun.bryant@augi.com).
After the Exhibit Hall opens on Tuesday:
Top DAUG Contest. Come visit the AUGI booth in the AU Exhibit Hall and, while you're there, show off your skills at the AU2013 Top DAUG Contest. This annual favorite is your chance to shine and be recognized as being "one with the software." Win the contest and you’ll win a free trip to AU2014!
Scavenger Hunt. Another activity being highlighted at the AUGI booth is the AUGI Scavenger Hunt. Do a little sleuthing and gather information about solutions from a handful of AUGI sponsors in the AU exhibit hall. The winner receives a free pass to AU2014!
Wednesday, December 4, 2013:
Technology Previews. In the afternoon following the Platinum Sponsor Technology Showcase, join us for a presentation of "Glorious Gadgets," led by long-time AUGI member Jim Balding. Come see what’s new and super cool in the world of technology.
AUGI Annual General Meeting. At 5:45 pm, don't miss the BIG meeting where you will hear about the present state of AUGI and get a peek at future plans. You can also be the first to see which product improvement wishes made the annual “AUGI Top Ten Wish List” reports, which will be presented to Autodesk representatives during the meeting.
AUGI Beer Bust. Immediately following the meeting, head over to the exhibit hall for the AUGI Annual Beer Bust and share a cold drink with thousands of your fellow AUGI members!
Thursday, December 5, 2013:
Top DAUG Winners. Join us at 1:00 pm in the AUGI booth for the announcement of the winners of the individual product contests as well as the overall Top DAUG for AU2013. Who knows?: This year the Top DAUG could be you!
Scavenger Hunt Winner. At 1:30 pm there will be a random drawing for the winner of the AUGI Scavenger Hunt. This lucky attendee will be invited to learn with AUGI again at AU in 2014!
But wait, there's more!
That's a lot of highlights, but it's just the beginning of what AUGI has in store for you at AU2013. There's also networking with fellow users, talking to members of the AUGI Board of Directors, or even getting so excited about AUGI's mission that you volunteer to help one of our managers with their projects after AU!
There is always room for you to get involved with AUGI, and no better time than now.
