AUGI at AU

We have been busy planning AUGI activities for Autodesk University 2011.  For those AUGI members who are attending, below is a run-down of the events. Items in green are community oriented activities and those in blue are AUGI specific. 

The items in orange are class and lab time periods. New this year, information sessions actually in the AUGI Booth! Look for the AUGI Theatre Presentations any time you are in the exhibit hall and experience the micro-sessions yourself!

Of course there are many who are not attending. Well please know that we will be trying to bring as much information out to the world as possible. We will of course be posting the AUGI Annual Meeting presentation to the website. And of course be on the lookout for the release of the 2011 AUGI Wish List Top Tens.

So what else is going on? To be frank, AU has most of our attention. But depending on when you read this we will be in the midst of the AUGI Wish List voting, in prep for release at AU2011. We will also be having our annual Board of Director elections very soon. We have finally transitioned into the 3 year term structure and have 3 seats for the 8 member board open for election. When you see the notice arrive in your inbox, please take the 5 minutes to read the candidate statements and vote. On the web site we still have things to button up and enhance. One major item is upgrading our forum software to vB4. Once that is done access to the forums will be available on mobile devices.
