Hello everyone!
I hope all is well with you all!
One of the AUGI programs that’s hot on the griddle this year is our AUGI Board of Directors Outreach. We wanted all of the directors, who were able, to visit Local User Groups (LUGs), schools, Autodesk Training Centers, etc. in an effort to have some face-to-face time with AUGI members and potential members.
A great many folks active in LUGs are NOT AUGI members for one reason or another. What we have found is that most haven’t even heard of AUGI! Therefore, the directors are making a concerted effort to introduce AUGI and AUGI benefits to non-members and to reintroduce AUGI to members who have not been able to benefit from AUGI for a while. Many are surprised at the outstanding changes we have made over the past couple of years. All were especially thrilled at receiving our flagship publication, AUGIWorld magazine, not to mention the rest of our awesome portfolio of member benefits.
Director R. Robert Bell had the privilege of speaking to two groups—in Spokane, Washington, and Boise, Idaho—using our new presentation format and brochures. Both groups received him very well and were excited at learning more about AUGI and the FREE membership and benefits! Robert has two more engagements next month.
I had the honor of speaking to the Central Florida AutoCAD Users Group in Lakeland, Florida. They were a very friendly group and received me very well. It was an honor to be there and talk to them and I thank them for asking me to come. Other groups have asked AUGI directors to visit in the near future and I thank them as well.
Have a great month!!
