AUGI Board of Directors Ballot for 2009
You must be logged in to participate in the Board of Directors election.
Each candidate should be considered individually. A candidate is elected based on total Yes votes counted. You may vote on all nine candidates, but you may only vote Yes on a total of eight candidates. The eight candidates receiving the largest number of Yes votes will be elected. Each of the elected candidates will serve a two year term beginning in January 2010 and continuing through December 2012. We commend all of the candidates for their willingness to serve and be part of this process. Their credentials and dedicated service are one of the reasons that AUGI is such a strong organization. It is through members such as these that we continue to expand the offerings, programs, events, and training to AUGI members.
NOTE: You must have been a member of AUGI for at least 30 days prior to the close of nominations (October 26, 2009)
to be able to vote in this year's Board of Directors election.

Paul Kirill
Home: Richmond, Virginia
Statement: I became a member of AUGI in early 2000. Since that time I have watched AUGI change and grow into a "real" organization that has become a driving force in the CAD world. I know there was a bit of a stumble in the separation from Solid Vapor and I would welcome the opportunity to put my unique talents to use helping with the transition. Of all that AUGI offers, I am most excited to see AUGI promote professional development through the CAD Camps, ATP, and the Career Center as these opportunities are critical in the current climate.

John Morgan
Home: Richmond, Virginia
Statement: As a current AUGI Board member, I have particular knowledge of the current organizational issues facing AUGI. They are challenging. Over the past two years as a Board member I have experienced the sudden departure of our management services provider and have fought to establish a sustainable organization in the face of a down economy. AUGI has not completely recovered from this downturn. Programs such as CAD Camps need to be reestablished to be stronger than they were prior to the downturn. We need to establish continual and renewable funding sources. Local Chapters need better support to increase membership and provide the face to face networking and learning opportunities crucial to a growing community. I feel that there is unfinished business in rebuilding AUGI and want to be instrumental in seeing that completed.

Peter Jamtgaard
Home: Kenosha, Wisconsin
Statement: AUGI is an organization that is built on the credo of users helping users. For the last several years AUGI
was run more like a business and not like a volunteer organization. Our current transition is back to the
volunteer paradigm. I am excited to be a part of that transformation. It is my feeling that we need to
focus on bringing our community together by providing useful programs that connect our users with
information like AUGI Training Program and the AUGI Forums, employment listings, rolling out the new
AUGI Exchange so we can share useful families, blocks, and routines, having affordable CAD Camps,
supporting the organization and growth of Local Users Groups, and extending our organization and
network to all Autodesk Users Groups worldwide. I would like to see more members of our Board of
Directors be international contributors and make sure our programs are developed to be international in
scope. To fulfill the potential of our name "The Autodesk Users Group International"
