About the AUGI Gauge AutoCAD is a complex piece of software. As an AutoCAD user, you may want to determine how well your system is performing, or how changing some options affects your performance. As a CAD manager or administrator, you may need to identify poorly performing workstations when determining a return on investment (ROI). The AUGI Gauge program will help you perform these tests. It is provided free of charge to AUGI members and works with AutoCAD 2002, 2004 and 2005. You can use the standard test scripts and drawings included with the program, or you can create a custom test, using your own drawings, routines, and variables. The AUGI Gauge includes three scripts: real-world (simulating day-to-day activities), synthetic (testing a specific feature/command only), and network (simulating common network read/write operations). The AUGI Gauge is described in detail in the Jul/Aug 2003 issue of AUGIWorld. |
