2013 Section cuts and Elevation callouts

I have found to easiest way to make sure sections are perfectly aligned to what I want it to cut, I use a reference plane drawn at the correct angle. Sections can snap to them easily

2015 "make part" or "derive"...which is better?

I'm trying to figure out which is better, "make part" or "derive." I'm sure both have there pros and cons, and I'd like to hear what experienced users have to say. Yes I searched the forums and came up empty for such a comparison. Thanks.

2014 Stepped topography

you would need two topo lines for each elevation (the bottom of the stop and the top) not sure if you can get them to stack however.

2014 Viewer mode

Hi, Yes I am a student, thats why I have a student version. I think I have found the cause. When shutting down I wasn't closing hidden windows first, now It seems the problem is resolved. Cheers Scotty

2015 Unable to edit 3D Models while in Perspective View in AutoCAD 2013 and older

I am an architect creating 3D models of buildings. I prefer the autocad interface over all others I've tried, except for one major limitation- 3D models cannot be edited consistently in perspective mode (the program has a hard time finding the objects making up the model while in perspective...
