Teach an ATP Course

Would you like to teach an ATP Course?

If you would like to prepare course material and serve as the instructor for an ATP course, please review the Instructor Responsibilities and the Submit a Course Proposal pages.

ATP Instructor Responsibilities

ATP Instructors are expected to:

  • Provide descriptive information about each course they are teaching. Course descriptions will be published at AUGI.com for the purpose of attracting registrants.
  • Prepare three downloadable course segments consisting of text and graphics, which will be made available to registrants as "handouts." Fast Track courses only require one segment.
  • All course material must be emailed to the ATP team three weeks prior to the beginning of the course. A “reminder” will be emailed to all instructors prior to the submittal deadline. Failure to submit the material in a timely manner will result in your compensation not being awarded.
  • Monitor the course forum during the three week duration of the course, answering registrant's questions and posting "quizzes" and/or other devices to help evaluate registrants' grasp of the material being covered in the course. As the ATP team considers this a huge part of the course, failure to monitor your forum on a regular basis will result in your compensation not being awarded.
  • Follow the AUGI Moderator guidelines while monitoring your class forum.
  • Post a course evaluation poll (and, optionally, a "final exam") in the course forum when the course is complete, and monitor the forum for an additional week to answer any remaining questions from registrants.
  • Communicate with the AUGI ATP staff to ensure that AUGI members find their ATP experience rewarding.

All completed ATP Courses will be placed in the Archived ATP Courses after three months following the completion of the course. During the time the courses are archived all AUGI members may download the course handouts.

Once an ATP course is complete and the course contents are archived, no further instructor interaction is required. It is possible, however, that an AUGI member may e-mail an instructor directly with a question about the material covered in an archived course, though this practice is discouraged. If such questions do occur, they can be answered at the instructor's discretion.

Upon successful completion of a course being offered for the first time, ATP instructors may request a gift card or AUGI logo wear for compensation.
